What is BPOM Regulation No. 18 of 2024 (PerBPOM 18/2024) updates?
  • BPOM enacted the new regulatory development of cosmetics on November 15, 2024. BPOM Regulation No. 18 of 2024 address following provisions

    • Inclusion of 2D barcodes on cosmetic labeling
    • Routine inspections & Incidental inspections
    • Strict regulations on refillable cosmetics
  • This regulation came in force within 12 months from November 15, 2024.
The registration certificate granted by BPOM will be valid for 3 years from the date of issuance of license retention fee must be paid time to time.
Fees need to be paid for cosmetic notification prior to launch product in Indonesia market.

  • Product Information File (PIF) is a document containing detailed information of cosmetic products from development to post-market surveillance. PIF includes following information
